Meet Your Representatives | New Jersey District 8 Legislators

A former Southampton Township Committeeman and Burlington County Commissioner, Latham Tiver has a track record of working with people in both parties to get things done and always puts South Jersey first.

Latham cut county property taxes, while investing in farmland preservation, 911 communications upgrades, and enhancing school security. Professionally, he is a Business Representative for the Operating Engineers Local 825, where he focuses on infrastructure improvements that help create jobs and grow our economy.

Latham was born and raised in South Jersey and has been married to his high school sweetheart for 25 years. He and his wife have two children, and Latham has volunteered as a baseball coach and isn’t ashamed to admit he’s a devoted “Dance Dad” for his daughter, a competitive dancer.

As Senator, Latham will be a strong voice for fiscal responsibility and lower taxes, defend the rule of law, and work to change the toxic culture of partisanship in Trenton.

In addition to his role as a State Assemblyman representing parts of Burlington and Atlantic Counties, Mike is an executive and principal of both S. Coraluzzo and Torrissi Transport, a transport company based in South Jersey with locations across the United States. You might see his trucks often making deliveries to Wawa stores throughout our region.

Through years of hard work, Mike led his firm’s national expansion into the Florida and Texas markets – creating thousands of jobs, and delivering petroleum products for consumers, the airline industry and the military.

In the state legislature, Mike stood up against Governor Murphy’s age-inappropriate school curriculum, demanded fiscal responsibility, and fought to ensure continued free access to Wharton State Forest for residents. Mike served four terms in local government prior to serving in Trenton. Mike and his wife have been married for 11 years and have one daughter. He is a graduate of Rutgers University.
